RECEIVING GUIDELINES

FlatOut Fulfillment Receiving Guidelines
The following guide advises you how to ship your products to FlatOut Fulfillment correctly. Following these guidelines will help you avoid delays, additional charges, and discrepancies.
All receiving must adhere to the following guidelines:
Each box, pallet, or container must have an "ASN" (Advanced Shipping Notice) created before being shipped to our warehouse. This includes either the Purchase Order being captured in our ShipHero Warehouse management Software, an emailed list of expected products and a packing list at the time of arrival, added to the first carton or pallet of the shipment.
Each carton in the shipment must be clearly labeled with the following information:

-
Your Company Name
-
The PO number Captured in ShipHero/Packiyo
-
The SKU & Quantity of units contained within the carton.
-
Each SKU must be separate in its packing. No mixed SKU cartons. (Ex. Different sizes of the same product must be in individual boxes, unless otherwise discussed beforehand)
-
If utilizing inner cartons, they too must be clearly labeled with the SKU and quantity on the outside.
-
Pallets must be 40x48 and no larger than 57 inches tall.
-
All units must be barcoded. (including Inserts & Custom Packaging)
-
When sending full shipping containers worth of product, each container requires a separate ASN and appointment, even if all are arriving on the same day and time from one supplier.

If these guidelines are not followed, you will incur Receiving Special Projects charges for your receiving. This includes an hourly labor charge and a receiving pallet or carton charge. Instead of only the pallet or carton receiving fee.

Good Faith Receiving:
1. Our receiving process is referred to as good faith receiving. This means that our modus operandi assumes that the quantity of SKUs listed on each carton is identical to the quantity present in the shipment. If the supplier short-shipped SKUs, it may not be clear until months later.
